Introduced to New York society through the city’s St. Regis, Mrs. Astor presented afternoon tea as a joyful opportunity to host gatherings with her closest friends. It quickly became a signature ritual and has become a defining part of St. Regis’ customs ever since.

Offering an elegant gathering place for ladies to enjoy the brand’s signature Afternoon Tea, the intimate setting features curated loose leaf tea pairings alongside delectable bites. Pairing the brand’s renowned service excellence with a range of delicate and aromatic blends, expect custom signature teas to be a highlight of the afternoon.

Ladies will be able to indulge in a range of fragrant loose leaf teas from Tchaba Tea that caters to every craving. With curated melds, guests can choose from a range of black teas including the Masala Chai with undertones of ginger, Earl Grey Flora which perfectly balances sweet hints of bergamot, and more.

For ladies wanting to quench their tea cravings with some light green tea blends, can choose the Jasmine Haze which offers a bright honey-yellow cup with notes of jasmine or the Moroccan Nights mix with fresh mint. A palette refreshing white tea is available providing ladies with sweet notes of honey and rose.

Guests wanting to explore more herbal infusions can choose from Chamomile Breeze made purely from the chamomile flower, the Happy Forest combines fresh hints of fruit with berry or the Rooibos Heal which provides a rich sienna cup with the sweet aroma of orange.

The heritage-rich property also offers its own special blend from Tchaba Tea. The St. Regis Signature Mix Tea is an authentic recipe infusion with a base of black and green tea, mixed with agave syrup and fresh crisp green apple.

Ladies can treat themselves to one of the signature Afternoon Teas, including The Traditional Treat or The Royal Treat package. Both packages offer a selection of savoury delights, including smoked salmon with crème fraiche and caviar, egg salad with chive and quail’s egg, and more. The packages also provide plain and raisin scones served with a selection of toppings, as well as an array of sweet indulgences.

The Traditional Treat option is served alongside a range of freshly prepared juices, water, and a selection of delicate loose teas or a variety of aromatic coffee. For ladies indulging in The Royal Treat package, they get to enjoy all of this, in addition to a flute of French bubbles.
